NUMNAHS AND SADDLE CLOTHS
Sitting between the saddle and the horse the basic job of a numnah is to protect the panel of the saddle from dirt and sweat. Usually with a well fitting saddle a thin numnah or saddle cloth is all that should be necessary. If something more than a thin quilted numnah is required there are a large selection available to help cover all different problems that might be encountered when fitting a saddle to a horse. There are pads that offer cushioning, extra grip or can help the fit of a saddle.
It is important to remember that if you have had your saddle fitted, changing your numnah to a different type or using a front, back or full riser will effect the fit.
BITS AND BITING
Selecting the right bit for the job is very important and every horse is different Our friendly team can offer advice to help you make the right choice. Whether you are looking for a weymouth or just a loose ring snaffle we have a full range of bits available to buy.
We also offer a bit hire service were you can purchase bits, try them and if you don't find them successful bring them back for a refund less a weekly hire fee.
BOOTS AND BANDAGES
Leonard Coombe Master Saddlers stock a huge range of horse boots including a selection of hoof boots. We have brushing, fetlock, tendon, exercise, knee, overreach, travel and stable boots boots to suit all types of work and situations in a variety of materials including leather and neoprene.
In addition to this we also stock a large selection of bandages and barefoot hoof boots.
