Saddle Fitting Service. We supply saddles personally fitted and altered to your horse as necessary by Karen Ligthelm our Master Saddler, and Society of Master Saddlers (U.K) Ltd qualified saddle fitter. At Leonard Coombe Master Saddlers we stock 100's of saddles from a selection of manufacturers, to suit all budgets and disciplines, in a huge range of sizes and styles.
We believe most horses are happier and settle into their work quicker in familiar surroundings, so we prefer to provide a mobile saddle fitting service and call on you, whether we are advising on the fit of your existing saddle or to supply you with a new/second hand leather or synthetic saddle.
Please phone or call into the shop to discuss your requirements and we will help you to complete an enquiry form to ascertain details about you, your horse and the type of saddle you require checking, or wish us to supply. We can then select a range of saddles most suitable to your needs and arrange a appointment. Please allow plenty of time for the fitting as there may be several saddles short listed as a suitable fit. A good quality saddle will last many years and we want you to be happy with your choice. We are happy to offer
advice, and to service your saddle after purchase. How often you have your saddle checked depends on many factors including the fitness and condition of the horse. Some horses remain quite consistent whereas others can lose or gain a whole size in a matter of weeks. We will advise on how to monitor your horse's size and condition so that you will be able to observe any changes that might require your saddle to be adjusted or refitted before problems occur.
